1. If you could be in any Broadway show as any character, who would you be and why?
Angela M. [17 - Elk Grove, CA]

It would have to be “Mr. Lovett” in Shirley Todd (the show I wrote, directed, built the sets, and gathered the props for in high school). I think it would be a phenomenal Broadway show! The people of Clovis, California didn’t appreciate it as much as they should have.

2. What is your favorite song to rock out to, when you’re just under pressure, working out, or want to just want to have fun?
Michelle Elea [13 – Long Island, NY]

Well, working out puts me under pressure, so “Party All the Time” by Black Eyed Peas is a good song for both. I like listening to alternative rock stuff mostly. The Killers, Snow Patrol, All American Rejects, Coldplay, Evanescence, The Fray, Katy Perry, Kevin Rudolf, etc. I’m a HUGE soundtrack person too, of movies and musicals alike. If you’re really angry about something I recommend anything by Linkin Park, those are some angry boys.

3. What t.v shows did you use to watch as a kid?
Sarah P. [16 – Salem, MA]

I remember watching a lot of grown-up shows when I was younger. X-Files, Roseanne, Seinfeld, Xena…However, I was obsessed with the Power Rangers. Anything on the Disney channel (the 90s Disney Channel that is), Batman, X-Men, Arthur, the list goes on…

4. Due to all the expectation that glee has created for the next episodes. How do you think people will react to the story?
Camila [21 – Chile]

I hope it doesn’t send the country into a state of panic, suicide packs, and bomb shelters like the first broadcast of “War of the Worlds” did, but you never know what singing and dancing children may cause people to do.All we can do is hope it’s a positive reaction. There’s some good stuff coming in future episodes dealing with many delicate situations that I think will help with a lot families out there.

5. What is your favorite food to pig out on?
Amanda F. [16 – Boston, MA]

Drumsticks. Addicted. I’m totally NOT having one right now…promise…

6. If you could play a different character from Glee for an episode, which character would you choose?
Carol

It would have to be Sue Sylvester! She and Kurt are very similar in a lot of ways…or maybe I’m making that up because I love Sue so much. I think Jane Lynch is beyond brilliant and I could never measure up to her genius though.

7. Hi Chris! You’re fantastic. I’d just like to know, what has been your biggest inspiration to get involved with film and TV? Who do you aspire to be like? Thanks and I can’t wait for Glee!
Tinkers [16 – USA]

Thanks Tinkers! Everything I do is in hopes that one day i’ll be on Hollywood Squares. Just kidding. When I was really little I’d watch movies and want desperately to be on the other side of the screen having all the fun and adventures. That lead me to performing in school plays, then community theater, and now I’m on Glee. I really look up to all the actors that are known for just being damn good actors. That’s all I ever aspired to be known as…Sexiest Man Alive couldn’t hurt either. ;)

8. Do you get tired of answering the same questions interview after interview?
Ashlee [20 – Maryland]

I’m so used to the same questions that if a reporter were to ask something random like “What’s your favorite color” I might start twitching and explode. Wouldn’t that be a nice YouTube video.

9. If you weren’t acting what would you be doing now?
Caitlyn [16 – California]

If I wasn’t in Glee I’d probably be sitting in a classroom at Fresno City College right now. If acting was never an option, I’d love to be a scenic designer for stage shows. I LOVE designing sets and making set models. Not a fan of building them though.

10. What was the most rewarding moment of your Glee experience so far?
Maya [17 – USA]

Being apart of something as special as Glee. We’re a big family behind the scenes. They’re the best friends I’ve ever had, besides the CEHS Kitchen staff.

11. If you were to take over the world, how would you like to do it?
Peri [16 – Australia]

A Ninja army would do the trick, and it just sounds cool. I’d only want to take over the pretty places. There’s a lot of the world I have no interest in. What am I gonna do with a desert?

12. If you could “bump into” anyone on the street, who would it be and why?
Emily [16 – Indiana]

Ellen would be cool! I think we have potential to be best friends.

13. Did you ever take dancing/singing lessons?
Jackie [14]

Between the ages of 10-13 I did take a few tap and singing lessons, and I sang and danced in High School shows. My dancing training has mostly come from Glee and my singing from countless sessions in the shower. I’ve given my finest concerts there.

14. What was your initial reaction when you found out they were writing a part for you in Glee?
Missa [19 – Indianapolis]

That whole chapter of my audition process just blows my mind. I don’t know if I’ve fully accepted it mentally. Just the fact that I’m on TV is surreal enough, the fact that Ryan Murphy from Nip/Tuck wrote a role for me to do on his new show almost makes it unreal. I hope I don’t wake up.

15. Who in the “Glee” cast have you become the closest with?
Danika Marie [14 - New Jersey]

I’m close with everyone on a different level. Jenna and Amber are like my big sisters, Ryan Murphy and Dante Di Loreto (executive producer) are like Dads, and Jane Lynch is like the cool aunt you want to live with.

16. After seeing a clip of episode 2, I have to wonder: how many times did you have to get tossed in a dumpster?
Jenn [20 – Boston]

Way too many! No more after “Showmance.” I actually broke my toe during one of the takes jumping out of the dumpster. It was one of those moments when you tell everyone “Oh I’m fine, just a little sprang!” and then as soon as you step on it you start screaming “OUCH! IT’S BROKE! IT’S BROKE! IT’S BROKE! IT’S BROKE! IT’S BROKE! OHHHH GOD! IT’S BROKE! IT’S BROKE!”

17. How does it feel to be in a show that really speaks to the kids that just love to perform and want to stand out and be different? And were you one of those kids?
Kalyn Paige D. [16 - Harrisburg, PA]

I was the BIGGEST Gleek ever. I’m so happy there’s finally a show (and a good show) that appeals to that audience. We’ve never had something like this on TV. You can only take so many freakishly good looking people on 90210 and Gossip Girl before it gets annoying.

18. If your children with Kristin Chenoweth are “high-pitched and cartoonish”, what would your children with Jane Lynch be like?
Jessica [24 – New Jersey]

Sarcastic and bitter! Hehehe. Jane is a WONDERFUL person and would make a terrific mother if she ever decided to have kids. I think my kids will be high-pitched and cartoonish no matter who I have them with, which is probably why I don’t plan on having any.

19. If/when a Glee blooper reel is released, which scene or episode would most prominently feature your bloopers? (assuming you actually make a few mistakes)
Jessica [24 – New Jersey]

I must say I’m very good about that, I rarely flub up lines or make mistakes but when I do I always try to save myself, I’m used to being on stage and forget you can stop and start over. There is one scene I had a REALLY hard time with. I had three pages of straight dialogue and it was nothing but tongue twisters. Apparently I can’t say “anonymity”.

20. What do you want to try creatively that scares the crap out of you?
Cookie Treible [32 - Portland, ME]

Impressions are easy, but an honest portrayal of someone seems terrifying especially if that person is still alive. But acting isn’t fun if you’re not challenging yourself. I hope to write someday and that’s even more terrifying than performing. You don’t just entertain the audience, you give them little bits of your soul.

21. Are there any causes you champion and really believe in?
Cookie Treible [32 - Portland, ME]

I’m a sucker for animals, children, preventing poverty, stopping abuse, and helping people with disabilities/diseases. I think that sums up every charity known to man.

22. So many of your cast mates have been in Broadway plays. Have you ever thought about doing Broadway and what would your dream Broadway role be?
Lexy Y. [20 - Cleveland, Ohio]

I think I answered that with the first question. I also think I’m bound to play Pinocchio someday.

23. If glee becomes a huge success r u gonna stop doing Q&A?
Adree [18 - Earth]

NEVER!

24. If there was one person you could work with (actor, director, etc) who would
it be?

Kai [25 - Redondo Beach]

One of my top choices would be Kristin Chenoweth and I got to work with her in episode four. She’s amazing. Awesome with a capital Awwwwww.

25. If your life is a TV show, what three songs would be included in your soundtrack?
Gail [19 – Philippines]

Oh geez….Some People from Gypsy, Defying Gravity from Wicked, and Teenage Wasteland by the Who??? That soundtrack would have to come out in volumes.

26. Do you have any nicknames?
Nina

I really don’t have too many nicknames. People called me many things in High School, but they’re not appropriate to mention. Lately I’ve been called “Mr. Cellophane” a lot.

27. Will “Russel Fish” be available for purchase via iTunes (for example) and/or other home viewing?
Jessica

Hahaha. I don’t know. It may be on the internet somewhere soon. That was my very first experience with film.

28. How are you and your character in Glee similar? How are you different?
Rajdeep D. [17 - British Columbia, Canada]

I actually have to tone down my own fabulousness and fashionableness when I’m playing Kurt. I kidd, I kidd. We’re both performers, pale, and sing really high. I wish I could be more like Kurt, I wish I could walk into a room with a superior attitude to everyone around me. He’s superior, I’m sarcastic. He’s chic, I’m a geek. He’s fierce, I’m farce. He’s fashionable, I’m flammable.

29. When you found out who else was in the cast did you google them? What did you learn/think?
Jay [21 – St. Louis]

Absolutely! I did full FBI background checks. I hit google, IMDB, Broadwayworld, Wikipedia…I knew EVERYTHING about them. I was super excited to be working with such talent.

30. Were you ever in glee club in high school? And was it a big deal at your school?
Logan [Richmond, VA]

I was involved in many song and dance worlds, but they were never called or considered Glee clubs. It defiantly wasn’t cool to anyone but us.

31. In your opinion, how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Robert H. [17 - Chicago, Illinois]

I believe a woodchuck should chuck as much wood as that woodchuck is willing to chuck before calling a woodchuck union. Sally also has the right to sell her shells by the sea shore. It’s a free country.
