Chris sells TV Pilot to Disney
It looks like Chris is adding TV show writer to his résumé! I can’t wait to see this.
Glee’s ChrisColfer proved to be more than a talented song and dance guy in a high school glee club on Fox’s popular network comedy. According to Deadline, Colfer, 20, achieved Renaissance man status when he sold his pilot based on the Florence Laughlin children’s book The Little Leftover Witch to the Disney Channel. Fans described Little Leftover Witch as falling into the same fantasy box as Wizards of Waverly Place, with a tale of a young witch who moves in with a family after she crashes into their home while riding her broom.
Colfer also co-wrote the indie comedy Struck By Lightning with director Brian Dannelly and signed on to star in the film.
As if he wasn’t busy enough, Colfer planned to join his Glee cast members on tour this summer.
More importantly for all the Gleeks, Colfer is confirmed to return for the show’s third season this fall.
